A very representative effect of this is the paradoxical stimulation of hair after the laser.

How many sessions of permanent hair removal are recommended?
Our work carried out on patients treated at Unilaser Medical took as definitive the results of a reduction of more than 90% over more than one year.
It was found that at least 10 sessions were necessary considering all areas.
However, the majority of patients did not obtain a 90% reduction at least after a one-year interval with this number of sessions.
80% obtained more than 90% long-term reduction in a range between 16 to 20 sessions.
The cases involving more than 20 sessions mostly correspond to the face where only 66.7% of patients obtained a long-term reduction greater than 90%.
In longer treatments (> 20 sessions) of laser hair removal on the face, a third of patients achieve a reduction greater than 90% with averages of 30 sessions. Very few cases (3) achieved complete reduction.
What happens if you do the laser without shaving
A diode laser will burn the hair onto the skin and will not have deep action if the area is not shaved first.
To avoid having to shave, the Candela laser is used as long as the hair is not too long and thick.
What can't I do if I get laser hair removal?
Arrive to the session with tanned skin.
It is better to do the laser a few days before the vacation to avoid arriving with inflammation and not having to delay the next session later.
Place depigmentants or abrasives on the laser-treated area. Burns may appear.
Abandon treatment.
When you get laser hair removal, do I have to get shaved?
It depends, in general there is no need if you have followed the professional’s instructions.
It is almost always better not to do it, to be able to better evaluate the result.
On the other hand, wax, almost always used when the hair is not too dense, will remove many hairs that could have been treated with a laser.
Yes, it has been recommended in a study to do a wax 15 days before the first session to select the hairs in active growth, the only ones susceptible to the laser.
How long does it take for hair to grow after the first laser session?
It is a question to be answered in many ways.
If hair remains after the session, different hair lengths will be observed in the next session.
Adding sessions or touch-ups before the hairs emerge would make it possible for them to be captured by the laser and this would be difficult to observe; The benefit would occur after doing sessions with no apparent but justifiable hair in the densest places.
Few sessions without touch-ups will give much more discreet results.
When does hair start to fall out with the laser?
It should fall immediately, if complete coverage has been achieved.
Burning is observed at first, it falls off over a period of 20 to 25 days.
How long do I have to wait to shave after laser?
In principle, it is better not to shave at the beginning of the treatment, when there is a lot of thick hair because it is the razor that generates the inflammation.

Hairs that do not fall need retouching and you should return to your center to have them treated again. If they are still there, they are possibly light or white in color, which requires electrolysis.

White hair removal is not possible with laser.
