Milia is a common disorder that usually affects the skin of the face at all ages. They resemble “blind pimples” with no exit hole.
They are therefore cysts of keratin trapped inside the skin surrounded by capsules.
Removal is usually easy by friction or by using needles to uncover the superficial skin layer and thus release the keratin content.
When they do not occur easily or are very numerous, they can be removed with the help of a laser.
The laser makes it possible to remove the superficial portion and vaporize the persistent capsule after keratin extraction.
