Cases of this type of skin disorder often cannot be resolved by this condition.
The cause of this type of scarring is seen especially in Latino men, although it has been observed on the chin in women.
The disorder appears to be classified as a special type of alteration of amorphous collagen deposits in conjunction with loss of elastin at the periphery of the lesions.
Various ablative methods have been proposed, from direct dermabrasion with ablative lasers to the use of subablative lasers, radiofrequency, among other methods.

Evolution after 6 months since the last treatment session for 7 months. A new lesion is observed that the patient considers to be the formation of scar papules. Control in this case was achieved using ablative and subablative lasers plus infiltrations.
